MMOD, INC. · UOMO
Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
This policy explains what MMOD, Inc. collects through UOMO, why we use it, who receives it, and the choices available to you.
1. Scope and controller
This policy applies to uomo.co, applications, the UOMO program, applications to join, support, and related services operated by MMOD, Inc. ("UOMO," "we," "us," or "our"). It does not govern third-party sites or services you choose to use.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use UOMO, we may collect:
- Contact and eligibility information: name, email, phone, age band, country, state, and consent choices.
- Application information: your schedule, goals, activity, obstacles, measurements you choose to provide, and health information you choose to share.
- Program information: check-ins, weight, progress photos, messages, training activity, and support requests.
- Payment and booking references: plan, payment status, appointment times, and processor references. Stripe handles card details.
- Device and acquisition information: IP address, browser, device, timestamps, referring page, campaign parameters, and advertising identifiers.
We receive information from you, your browser or device, service providers, payment activity, and referral links. Do not submit lab results or urgent clinical messages through the UOMO app. At launch, lab results and clinical conversations are handled by the physician or lab partner.
3. How we use information
- Assess program fit and provide applications, accounts, coaching, training, reminders, and support.
- Coordinate with independent trainers, physicians, nurses, labs, and other providers involved in your program.
- Process payments and bookings, prevent fraud, secure the service, and resolve support issues.
- Measure and improve the website and campaigns when optional analytics or advertising are enabled.
- Comply with law, protect safety and legal rights, and enforce our agreements.
4. Health information and medical providers
Information about your health, medications, measurements, photos, and check-ins may be sensitive. We limit its use to application review and program delivery. Independent physicians and nurses make clinical decisions and provide medical care under their own professional duties. They may collect clinical information on their own platform and provide their own privacy notice.
UOMO does not ask you to upload lab reports through the app at launch. We keep clinical messaging and lab results on the physician or lab partner's platform unless we have the required agreements and safeguards in place. Access to customer information is limited to people who need it for their work.
5. Analytics and advertising
Optional analytics and advertising technologies are on by default for US visitors unless you turn them off or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. For visitors in the EU, UK, and other opt-in regions, they stay off until you choose to enable them. When enabled, analytics help measure visits and funnel activity. The Meta Pixel and server events help measure campaigns and may use online identifiers such as IP address, browser details, and advertising cookie IDs.
We do not intentionally send Meta your survey free text, health details, phone number, or email address. We treat Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of advertising for that browser. Use Cookie Settings to change optional choices at any time.
6. How we disclose information
We disclose information to service providers that support hosting, data storage, email, scheduling, payments, analytics, and campaign measurement; to the independent professionals who provide services you request; and to legal or safety recipients when reasonably needed. Stripe processes payments. We do not sell clinical records.
7. Retention
We keep information as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and payment records, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and protect security. You can request deletion where applicable law provides that right. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
8. Your choices and rights
You may change optional analytics and advertising choices at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or a description of how information is processed; to object or restrict processing; and to appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
To submit a request, email legal@uomo.co. We may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law.
9. Security, transfers, and age
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we process, but no system is perfectly secure. UOMO is designed for men aged 30 and over and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 to use the service.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as UOMO or the law changes. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when required.
